Dance Shop
The Dance Shop is important as a source of appropriate dancewear, shoes and accessories. In addition, the dance retailer is a great source of information about training, performance and the events and organizations in the local artistic community, and can be a special part of your child's support team.

Our shop hours are normally Monday 4:00 - 8:00 pm, Wednesday 4:00 - 7:00 pm, Thursday 4:00 - 6:00 pm, and Saturday 10:00 - noon or you can call and set up a private appointment.

The Paola School of Dance Dance Shop is the areas only Authorized Retailer of Russian Pointe shoes. These handmade shoes are top of the line, pointe shoes that are made to fit all types of feet - choose from 5 different styles. Contact Christine to set up an appointment for a fitting.
Ballet Slippers
Ballet shoes, or ballet slippers, are specially designed light shoes for ballet dancing.
Tap Shoes
Tappers have choices in shoes and taps. One can choose street shoes (possibly with an additional overlaid sole) or specialty dance shoes and a range of taps that can be used with each.
Jazz Shoes
Available in both full sole and split sole versions, the split sole is more flexible and easier to point. Full sole shoes can look more like a street shoe on stage, which can be good, and they can offer more arch support or can be fitted with flexible custom orthotics if necessary.
Lyrical/Modern
This sandal has a suede upper with half-sole covering the ball of the foot for protection in turns. The thong shaped upper fits between big toe and second toe.
